Value Proposition
Do problems exist? How big is it How many direct/indirect competitors?
Barriers to Entry
How likely can others capture the market once you validate the need.? Do you have marquee customers or patents?
Founders Pedigree
What experience does the founding have in the problem startup is trying to solve?
Traction
The most critical parameter is validation from the market. Generating revenue fast. We look for M-o-M growth of about 25% from a lower base of about 8 Lakhs MRR.
Co-Investors
Has the larger investor community trusted your idea either in the current round or the previous round?
Unit Economics
Are they spending more than what it costs to make the product/service?
Product Market Fit
Are you solving real problem of the customer? Is it nice-to-have or must-have for targeted customers?
Founders Dynamics
Do founders work as a team? Are roles clearly defined? Does each team member complement the other's skills? IAre any critical function (like IT) outsourced?
Scalability Visibility
How much time would it take to achieve 10X growth? What is the growth/product/ market/ technology roadmap?
